Fall usually my favorite season for some reason, is right around the corner. It seems like the the last three have been a little stressful for the start of the school year. This one is proving no different. This fall we will be adding an addition to our family, which is and will be a very exciting time for us. The hard part for the past couple of years has been figuring out how I can spend the majority of time raising family, which has consisted of Olivia and still being able to make enough money, so we don't need to stress. Which the school district is not always on our side, but God is so it has worked out for the past three years. The first year I was able to find an amazing sub to take a full semsester off to stay home with Olivia after having her. The second year, I was lucky enough to be able to work part time, and we were able to find another teacher willing to work withe me which, the school district said they would only do for the year. Last year, I was lucky enough to get the school district to change my contract to part time and they hired a real art teacher to teach part time with me! We have been blessed, this year comes with another challange of finding a sub for the remainder of the year, so I can take off after September. God has worked out and I am praying for his perfect plan in this situation too. Praying for peace about the situation while I wait, to find out how this will all work out. On a side note, I have been doing lots of photography, I feel super blessed to be able to put a wedding catergory on my website, and I feel like I have been really blessed with an abundants of photo jobs, I am still learning a lot, and still need to learn a lot, and I still get discouraged quite a lot. But woul love if my identity will become in the near future, a stay at home mother and photographer on the side. Instead of part time art teacher/part time mom.
Summer was amazing and we feel so fortunate that we were able to spend so much time with Olivia and do all and see all that we were able to see. We were able to spend a large chunk of our summer visiting family and friends in Michigan and in Indiana, and doing a few photo shoots there. I can't believe summer is coming to an end quickly, but I am excited for the change of season and new change that will happen in our life! I will post new pictures soon, I still need to do my maternity pics and I am sure there will be some other fun life documenting moments, I will feel the need to post and write about.
