Boulder and Scotty and Meg's wedding
We were able to go up to Boulder for the weekend to celebrate with one of my really good freinds at his wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we are so happy for Scott and Meg. What a perfect couple and what a fun wedding! So happy for them both. I did not have my camera unfortunately for the ceremony, and the reception I did not have my flash so I did not get to many great pics, but here are few of the wedding. Now they are off to Paris for their honeymoon!

Garden party
We are growing some radishes and cilantro and dill and a few other veggies and herbs, hopefully the tomatoes will start growing soon, so that I can make some salsa. I was out taking some pics of the garden, I love my camera! Definately have fun with it, can't wait to take more people pictures, just like people are my favorite to paint, people are my favorite to photograph. I did newborn pics the other day and was very pleased with how they turned out. Hopefully I will have some family pictures to post soon!

Summer Vacation
Enjoying and soaking up every second of summer, loving being a stay at home mom with Olivia, and yes it gets better, the fact that Dan and I are both teachers with summers off is definately a bonus! No that is not the reason I married him, but God definately gave us something special there. We are blessed!
Olivia is getting so funny and cracking me up more and more. Today I step out of the shower and she brings me clothes to put on. She is always thinking. She loves to put her babys in their swing and let them swing all day long, if they were real they would barf. She takes good care of her babies, she feeds them and gives them bottles, she was even putting diapers on their heads, she always does everything to her dolls that we do to her, (but we don't put diapers on her head,) not sure where she learned that one. She loves to hug her babies and she even brings me her care bear to sleep with, when I am laying on the couch. She is so thoughtfull! Watching her go down the slide and stand up with the biggest smile on her face when she gets to the bottom is the best thing ever, wow what a blessing we have. It's easy to get frustrated when she is screaming at the top of her lungs, or when she interuppts dinner every night, but man she sure makes up for it all! He little smile melts our hearts! She loves to read storys to herself and she loves to sing a long to Klove in the car, swee music to our ears!
Well Dan and I our doing great, we are looking foward to some good hikes and camping trips this summer as well as our trip to Michigan! Always a blast! We are both awaiting some warm weather so we can take Olivia to the pool and play outside a little more. I have not been painting to much lately, but really need to start again, I need to paint a wedding present for the end of June! Got to get on that one. We are enjoying Olivia and pateintly waiting for the time to come when we will get to add another to our family. We pray that God will bless us with more children in the future. Until then we will enjoy and spoil Olivia as much as possible with lots of love and attention.
Well it's getting late and Dan decided he wanted some cookies so he drove to wal-mart to get some butter, so I suppose I should go make him a little treat. By the way, the diet thing, it just does not work with the Rosentreter's, although I am starting to run, I have been once, but I will keep it up! We will post some new pictures soon, I guess we have not had anything to interesting since our vacation!

Our first vacation for the summer
Well we took our first road trip for the summer. Our first stop was Parump, Nevada to see Dan's parents. We stayed there, three days and just hung out. Then on to California to go and camp on the ocean. We had a beautiful site that overlooked the ocean. We were a little bummed about the weather it was so cold and cloudy and we could not really play in the water (although Dan did go swimming a little and braved the cold), we did play on the beach a little bit, I think Olivia liked playing in the sand. She loved exploring the campsite and just hanging out. Olivia was a trooper for the most part. Because of the bad weather we started heading back early and stopped in Mesquite for a few days to lay out by the pool and soak up some sun. That was cut early as well, Olivia ended up getting heat rash all over her body so we decided it was time to go home. Not our favorite vacation ever, but we enjoyed seeing the ocean and it was nice to get out of town and go away for a week.
